Big God, Little Me

Forget waiting to be saved, no one is coming to rescue you. No one is coming.

Once the blaming, bargaining, pacifying, distracting, avoiding and several attempts to escape ourselves have been exhausted only a miracle, a hero will do.

Big God, Little Me is a collaborative, devised, multi-disciplinary performance, interrogating our need for something beyond ourselves to get us through the impossible, unbearable and unimaginable.

This piece explores transcendence, faith, mysticism, the sublime and the surreal to discover both our fragility and superhuman abilities.

A devised show directed by Anthea Lewis in collaboration with the cast on the BA (Hons) Acting Collaborative and Devised Theatre. Designed & produced by BA (Hons) Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.
